Solas is the Gaelic word for ‘light’.
Since I was a child, I have loved lighthouses. The steadfastness of these beacons is a beautiful reminder for us all. Even in the stormiest seas, there is a light guiding us.
I read a definition of lighthouses that really resonated with me: “A lighthouse symbolizes a way forward, it stands for safety in the face of adversity, it provides help to navigate the world.”
I am honored and privileged to be able to offer myself as a light to illuminate your journey.
I also hope that in our work together I am able to reflect back YOUR light. We all have one. Sometimes it’s been dimmed, but I have faith your light is still there. Your light is important. And it is needed. You are needed.
“There are two ways of spreading light – to be the candle or the mirror that reflects it.” ~ Edith Wharton
“I wish I could show you when you are lonely or in darkness, the astonishing light of your own being.” ~ Hafiz
“Owning our story can be hard but not nearly as difficult as spending our lives running from it. Embracing our vulnerabilities is risky but not nearly as dangerous as giving up on love and belonging and joy – the experiences that make us most vulnerable. Only when we are brave enough to explore the darkness will we discover the infinite power of our light.” ~ Brene Brown
